Apple har stängt ute en mängd ryktessidor ifrån pressvisningen av MacWorld Expo. Det har skapat kraftiga reaktioner ifrån dom drabbade sidorna - ett exempel är GraphicPower.com där chefredaktören Scott McCarthy går så långt att han säger följande:
I have been publishing GraphicPower for 4 years (as of August 1) out of love for Apple, the Mac, the Mac community, and graphics technology. The site has never made enough money to even cover the cost of attending Macworld Expo. I never really intended the site to make money. It has been a creative outlet and a conduit for deeper involvement into the Macintosh community. The integrity of that community is now corrupted and I really don´t give a shit about continuing the site or attending Macworld Expo.
I really don´t expect an apology from Apple, but that is the only thing that would reinstate my spirit. I will never buy another Apple computer. The several computers that I have now will have to satisfy my computing needs indefinitely.
Apple... take your freakin´ media pass and put it where the sun don´t shine!
Med andra ord: GraphicPower läggs ner och han kommer aldrig någonsin köpa en Mac igen. Bra reklam för Apple!
