Now waiting on my third pair Sound is good when they work. It would almost be bearable if their customer service was better (like Apple or LL Bean) and when they did break it didn't take over a month to get them back, and that when they are backlogged they bit the bullet and sent them 2 day vs ups ground. They have a lot to learn about build quality and customer service. May end up ebaying the replacements.

I had the same problem as, I'm guessing, hundreds of users of having/had. One earphone stopped working after, about 2 months of buying. And also the actual cable started showing out of the side of the fabric coating near where the wire enters the jack. Great sound and comfort. But shockingly bad build quality of cable/ jack. (the actual earphones seem to be built well though.) But I got mine from an eBay store (brand new, in box, sealed) so i'm stuffed as regards warranty I think.

I really enjoyed these headphones...for about 5 weeks. Just like everyone else, I'm in the middle of my transit to work and *bam* the right speaker shorts out. So after some investigation I realized it was where the cable entered the connector. I spent the rest of the ride trying to hold the cable in the one spot it would work. Contacted V-Moda, sent them back...at my cost. I really like the headphones, the sound quality was fair for the price, the fit was fantastic. But now that I've researched a little more and realize so many other people have had the same issues, I feel like a dope. I'll get the new ones hopefully soon, 5 weeks later I'm sure I'll have to send them back, if that happens, V-Moda, I'll want a full refund.
