Apple’s word choice for their media invitations usually offer clues of what will be announced at the event. For example, the invitation for the first unveiling of Mac OS X Lion showed a lion behind the Apple logo, with the words “Back to the Mac.” Many read this as Apple saying they were finally going to focus on the Mac again, rather than the iPhone and iPad, but actually they were referencing the fact that they were bringing many iOS features “back to the Mac.”Particularly, I’m curious about this: “And touch.”
Obviously, what we “really have to see” is the new high-resolution screen. But why include the touch portion? We already know you touch the iPad -- it has always been that way. What is so special about this new iPad that Apple claims we “really have to... touch.” Separating “touch” into its own sentence is a sign of emphasis.
