Förhandsvisning i Förhandsvisning?

Välj Förhandsvisning under rubriken öppna med program.
Under står det "standardprogram för den här typen" och (förmodligen) Acrobat 5. Välj attt ändra alla. (Knappen under.) Nu kommer det att stå Prewiev istället.

Vill du att PDFer ska öppnas i Acrobat måste du manuellt ändra för just de filerna. Det går att göra en batch genom att markera många filer och ta visa info på dem.

Kom bara ihåg att inte ändra standardprogrammet från Prewiev.

Jag vet inte om du kanske öppnar flera hundra PDF:er om dagen, men annars är det väl inte så jobbigt att ha en ikon i docken som du kan dra filerna till?

Mitt system fungerar så att vissa filer får ´Preview-ikon* och andra får ´Acrobat-ikon*, det är lite godtyckligt. Preview används i Preview, för förhandsvisningar.

Testa också att dirigera om alla filer till preview, kolla att den används för att förhandsvisa dokument, och installera sedan om Acrobat.

Nedan följer min Custominfo.plist, som finns i paketet Preview. Om du vill kan du kopiera den, och se om det funkar bättre då. Personligen tycker jag inte att problemet är livshotande.

Vad jag förstått så är grundinställningen i systemet att Prewiev öppnar PDFer "by default". Sen kan du fortfarande välja att vissa individuella PDFer öppnas med Acrobat. Man får dock ställa in det manuellt.

En finess, som jag påpekade i tidigare inlägg, är att du kan markera flera filer och ta visa info på samtliga på en gång. På det viset kan du ändra programmet som ska öppna just de filerna med ett handtag istället för varje fil för sig.

OsX är ju lite speciellt på det här planet. Det använder resursdelen till filerna fortfarande, men utan att ställa in "creator". Det sköts globalt med koppling till filsuffixet. Men, man kan lägga till ett värde i creator och därigenom koppla en viss fil till ett visst program.

Problemet du ställs inför är att X inte skriver något i creator när en PDF skapas i utskriftsrutan, och därför öppnas filen i det program som är valt av systemet att hantera filer med suffixet .pdf. Och man kan ju inte ha två förvalda program till samma suffix.

Jämför med Windows eller Filkonvertering i OS9.
Apple har gjort så här för att bibehålla en större kompatibilitet (rättstavat?) mellan X och Win (framförallt) men även andra Unix-dialekter. Detta skedde när man la till SMB-stöd direkt i OSet. Filsystemet använder därför nu filsuffix istället för resursdel för att identifiera filtyper.

Men det använder också resursdel. Eller filsuffix. Nåja, rörigt blir det men det fungerar.

Å andra sidan kan jag ju sitta här och ifrågasätta varför du vill öppna förhandsvisningen i Förhandsvisning, men det är ju ditt val...
