I have a problem using my external LaCie 4x4 CD-R after installing MacOSX 10.1.4 on my G4. The CD-burner is connected via my Grappler 906F SCSI-card.
Under OS9.1 I had to update the SCSI-cards firmware and could after that burn CD-R´s just fine. I now thought I had to update the firmware again, so I downloaded the update from Orange Micro´s website: <http://www.orangemicro.com/bin/update906F0302...>
Now, when I try to install the firmware, I get the message "SCSI Host Adapter not found". The SCSI-card sits nicely in its slot, so nothing wrong there. According to Apple´s System Profiler, the Grappler-card is recognized. What should I do??
