Inte ladda upp dubletter till google foto?

Har börjat använda google foto och synkat alla bilder från min mac med google photo app. Har nu hittat en hög med CD/DVD som jag också vill lägga in i google photo. Att jämföra om det finns dubletter mellan DVD/CD och bilderna på min mac känns för tidsödande. Har tänkt att om jag bara skapar en ny mapp på min mac som synkas med google photo och lägger alla mina bilder från CD/DVD där. Frågan är dock om google photo är smart nog att inte ladda upp de bilder som redan finns en gång till eller om google photo har någon funktion för att radera dubletter.

Google Photos är sjukt smart. De har inget att vinna på att lagra samma bild två gånger, tvärtom. Har man sådana datamängder blir man expert på deduplicering.
