Sorry for responding in English. Yesterday I was searching for a solution to this problem connecting my comhem Netgear CG3700EMR to a VPN but without much luck.

Finally after much discussion with various support staff from comhem broadband I finally spoke to someone who new of the problem. In short it is a known problem with this netgear modem and they have been waiting for an firmware upgrade from netgear to resolve this. It was something connected with the firewall settings, forgive me but I could not fully understand their explanation.

They did though have a temporary solution which worked! It sound like your solution jlundberg. What they did was turned off the wireless router settings and made into a basic modem. Which meant you either had to connect a computer or another external wireless router directly into one of the LAN connection. They did this all remotely so I am not sure what changes to the settings they made

My set up means I have used both, one LAN connect to my Apple time machine router the LAN to a computer. After some additional modifications to the Apple time machine I can now say both set ups, wireless or direct connection to the modem work and I can connect to a VPN network.

I appreciate that this is not a very clear explanation of how to overcome this problem but there is a solution out there. If you have a conhem account they should be able to help if you get through to the right person.
