Nu visade det sig att två åtgärder löste detta problem finemangigt:
1. hittade Pocahontas förslag på:
http://99mac.se/forum/showthread.php?t=47799
, fast jag tömde Safaris icons-mapp innan jag ändrade behörighet till "Endast läsa"
2. ändrade airport-inställningarna enligt John på apples forum på:

" Greetings All,
I was having many of the same problems. I have a powerbook accessing the web through an Airport Extreme Base Station (AEBS) hooked to my dsl modem via ethernet. Mail would never send on the first click, software update had to be clicked twice, and safari almost always had to be clicked twice to get to a web site.
I tried all the suggestions, to no avail.
To make a long story short, I discovered, with some help from this discussion board, a solution to my problems.
Open "Airport Admin Utility." Select the "Configure" menu item. Click on the "Show All Settings" button. Select the "Network" tab. Deselect the "Distribute IP Addresses" button.
I only have one computer hooked to my AEBS, so this works for me. I'm not sure what it would do with multiple computers on the network.
Hope this helps.
John"
Så nu går det undan!
Kan någon nu bara förklara vad det var jag egentligen ställde om på Airport?
