Så här vackert står det på företagets sida:
"Faxing is a process of transmitting data over a telephone line, which requires an analog modem and telephone line, as well the ability to dial a telephone number. Cable, DSL, ISDN and LAN network connections are all digital devices that do not dial telephone numbers, and cannot be used to send faxes. Additionally, cable, DSL, ISDN and LAN connections connect to your computer´s ethernet port, not the modem port.
If you have an internal, external or PC card modem and a standard telephone line connected to it using a telephone cord, then you can use your faxing software to send faxes in addition to using your cable modem, DSL or LAN connection for Internet Access.
NOTE: At this time, FAXstf X is only compatible with the Apple Internal Modem. Other modems will be added in future revisions."
