Dear Arts Professionals,
London-based onedotzero – the world’s biggest festival of moving digital images - will visit Moderna Museet during 11-13 February. The festival compiles and presents new trends and creators in various fields of design such as art, architecture, computer games, design, fashion, music and much more. Onedotzero organise a ten-day festival each year at the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Arts) in London.
The onedotzero_stockholm festival will feature screenings of six compilation programmes and a series of talks and presentations on the digital image in various contexts.
11 February 15.00 - 17.00 Architecture + New Moving Image (featuring UK designers Lynn Fox - visuals for among others Bjork and Neutral, 3d design)
New ways of expressing spatial environments across computer gaming, motion graphics, interactive installations and club visuals are reconfiguring the manner in which spatial environments are experienced.
12 February 17.30 - 19.00 The exploded Film-maker (featuring Adam Smith, UK vs Johan Renck, Sweden)
This session brings together Sweden and the UK´s creative scenes to investigate current innovators of contemporary moving image. Award-winning director Adam Smith works across music videos, live visuals and music documentaries. Smith has worked with The Streets and U2 as well as the new UK "grime" scene.
The festival is not just about British creativity but will also showcase Sweden’s creative community in the areas of motion graphics, music videos and short films by both established and rising new stars in the special onedotzero_sweden section.
